A few years after I arrive to New York City, I worked as a Romance Novel Illustrator for Harlequin Romance Books. Starting with a short description of the 'lovers' and the romantic setting I next chose two perfect models from the top agencies at the time, and decided upon the wardrobe and set imagery.  Today , the paintings stand as humorous takes on romance in the 1980's ..I was often given the 'Virgin Series', and was instructed to show desire without too much cleavage, contact, yet have enough supressed passion to make it 'romantic'.

The paintings  were featured in the show 'Noon on the Moon'  at Mathew Gallery NYC  in 2014 and illustrated the publication of Poetry 'Noon on the Moon'  by  A.P.E.   arts project era
